Learn to love Nature with "Great Job Nature"

"This delightful book is a place where children can develop appreciation and gratitude for nature"

CHRISTINE DENNY – AUTHOR

About Christine

Christine Denny has many strings to her bow and has spent the past 35 years as an educator! In this capacity she has worked predominantly as a tap dancer and teacher, writing and creating her own tap dance syllabus programme Tapatak Oz, which is now used by dance schools globally.

It was these many years of teaching children that have inspired this first book “Great Job Nature” – which brings together three of her passions: bringing JOY to children, a love of nature and writing.

This is Christine’s first children’s book and she looks forward to sharing many more with you in the future.

How the writing started

Christine has always been involved with dance teaching, drumming, rhythm and personal development through the arts, which drew her to be teaching people in a variety of personal circumstances over the years. Whether she was running rhythm workshops for the general public at big events, presenting workshops on bringing dance to the disabled, teaching Dance for Parkinsons or running self development workshops for teenagers – there was always a goal that was bigger than the dance itself.

And that was bringing JOY to the individual in the classroom, no matter what their personal challenges or worries in the moment.

For Christine, the writing of books is an opportunity to continue to bring JOY into the life of others, by exploring her life long love of the written word and the magic it can convey.

She hopes her words and the sharing of this first book, and those to come, will foster human connection, a healthy sense of self, a love of nature and most importantly a JOY for life.

What can I say… This woman has such a thirst for life and its contagious. She was the one who didn’t just encourage me on this new path of mine but challenged me to not be afraid. And Christine is living proof of such things. She is honest, forthright and truly listens to you when you talk to her. Which is a rare gift these days.

I have seen first hand over a long period of time Christine's dedication to empowering women to be the best they can be, in whatever form that takes. It's impressive to watch.

What I love about our interactions is that it's always thought provoking and I find myself challenging some long held beliefs I didn't even know I had!

I have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s and in an attempt to lighten the load I have attended “Dancing with Parkinson’s” classes. This provided me with the opportunity to meet and experience the tutelage of the delightful Christine Denny; the highlight of my week. When challenges present themselves, she has the ability to professionally overcome these problems with seamless understanding and humour. I have met many wonderful and inspirational people in my business career and personal life though none to compare with Christine.
