Christine Denny has many strings to her bow and has spent the past 35 years as an educator! In this capacity she has worked predominantly as a tap dancer and teacher, writing and creating her own tap dance syllabus programme Tapatak Oz, which is now used by dance schools globally.
It was these many years of teaching children that have inspired this first book “Great Job Nature” – which brings together three of her passions: bringing JOY to children, a love of nature and writing.
This is Christine’s first children’s book and she looks forward to sharing many more with you in the future.
Christine has always been involved with dance teaching, drumming, rhythm and personal development through the arts, which drew her to be teaching people in a variety of personal circumstances over the years. Whether she was running rhythm workshops for the general public at big events, presenting workshops on bringing dance to the disabled, teaching Dance for Parkinsons or running self development workshops for teenagers – there was always a goal that was bigger than the dance itself.
And that was bringing JOY to the individual in the classroom, no matter what their personal challenges or worries in the moment.
For Christine, the writing of books is an opportunity to continue to bring JOY into the life of others, by exploring her life long love of the written word and the magic it can convey.
She hopes her words and the sharing of this first book, and those to come, will foster human connection, a healthy sense of self, a love of nature and most importantly a JOY for life.
